Dr. Anthony was raised in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School in 1988. His journey with orthodontics began at a very young age, helping out in his father’s orthodontics practice as a second-grader. Dr. Anthony ended up taking over his father’s practice after 25 years of working side by side as orthodontists. He is proud to keep his father’s kindhearted and dedicated patient care philosophy alive at Harwell & Cook Orthodontics.
Passionate about helping people smile out loud, Dr. Anthony finds joy every day watching his patients’ smiles transform and their confidence grow. He feels he can relate to his patients and has a good perspective on their experience in orthodontic treatment, as he had really bad teeth growing up and underwent treatment with braces four times—he even had headgear! Being honest and straightforward with his patients is Dr. Anthony’s style, and it pays off because his patients usually end up saying, “It wasn’t as bad as I thought!” Dr. Anthony would like his patients to know that at Harwell & Cook Orthodontics, his tight-knit team cares deeply about patients and takes the very best care of them. You will be treated like family every step of the way!
