Meet Our Orthodontists

Dr. Anthony Harwell, Jr.

Dr. Anthony Harwell brings decades of orthodontic experience to his work at Harwell & Cook Orthodontics, where he focuses on helping patients build healthy, confident smiles through thoughtful, individualized care. Patients appreciate his calm demeanor, precise approach, and the time he takes to ensure every treatment plan is tailored to their needs, regardless of age.

Dr. Harwell’s connection to orthodontics began early, growing up around his father’s practice and learning firsthand the importance of consistency, compassion, and patient relationships. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Harwell also completed advanced orthodontic training at the University of Texas–Houston, where he earned both a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics as well as a Master of Science. He remains dedicated to creating an environment where patients feel supported, informed, and confident throughout their orthodontic care.
