Your First Visit

The Harwell & Cook team will make sure that your first visit is not only free, but comfortable, fun, and informative—we want you to leave our practice feeling excited and confident about treatment! During your appointment, you will meet our team, and we will gather information to learn about your or your child’s health history and specific orthodontic needs. We will then work together with you to create a unique treatment plan just for you. Our team will also take diagnostic images to help us get you or your child on the path to smiling out loud. If treatment is recommended, patients can often get started that very same day if convenient for them. Of course, we welcome parents to sit in our treatment area during the appointment to keep their children company. Finally, we will discuss the estimated cost for your treatment to make sure it fits into your budget.

The initial consultation will include the following:

  • A thorough dental and medical history review
  • Comprehensive oral exam
  • Photographs and an X-ray evaluation of your teeth and surrounding structures
  • Discuss financial information, insurance options, and payment plans
  • Answers to any questions you may have

Financial and Insurance Information

When it comes to choosing the right provider for orthodontic treatment, there is a lot to consider—from the doctor’s experience and the technologies they use to the way you feel when you walk through the doors of the practice. We believe you should never have to choose between the best provider and a payment you can afford.

At all 14 of our trusted Harwell & Cook Orthodontics practice locations, we strive to provide exceptional care with customized treatment for every patient and their family—and we also customize payments so that your care is within reach. At Harwell & Cook Orthodontics, our policy is to allow our patients to design a payment plan that fits their budget. Our patients have the opportunity to start full treatment with as little as $250 down and payments as low as $150 per month—we use a slider method that allows our patients to choose a down payment and monthly payment that works. Cash, check, Visa®, Mastercard® or specialized financing are all options. In addition, your orthodontic insurance claims will be submitted on your behalf by our office.
