Harwell & Cook Orthodontics

From the Nozzle of the Goddess of Knowledge

Yowza! Yippee-Ki-A! Today is the DAY!

It has finally become official that I get to share the news! I get my own blog at Harwell & Cook Orthodontics! My picture is on the website, and they call me the “office dog”, but up until this week, I was just a cute face! Now you will see how SMART I am! YOWZA! THIS IS THE BEST DAY!

So let me start off by first telling you a little about myself. I was born in Dallas on October 9th, 2016. I met my human parents and human brothers in November 2016. It was on this day that I was put into this four-door thing with wheels and journeyed to a place called Amarillo. These first few hours were hard as I missed my family, but I was loving all the attention from my humans. During the drive, the humans kept talking about a bunch of names for me. Some of their ideas were really …. How do I say? …. Stupid. I sat there and listened and even fell asleep for a while. Then one of them said, “Athena” and I perked up my ears and barked. It was official! They said they knew I was an Athena. Thank goodness! I don’t know why it took them so long?!?!? One look at me and you knew I am … Athena …. I AM the goddess of knowledge. I could see some humans wanting to call me Aphrodite, but I truly was Athena. You will be surprised by how much I know … I cannot wait to share it with all of you!

I will be honest; I hated my first few days at my humans’ house. It seemed like all I ever heard was … no, bad girl, go outside. My humans only seemed to like me while I was sleeping. (Just look at the picture of me sleeping in the corner at work. They think I am cute here and had to take a picture! You don’t even see my face!) What was wrong with them?!?! Look at the pictures of me when I was young … aren’t I the cutest thing ever?!? I think I look like a rock star in the picture of me in the basket. But they continued to complain and even compared me to a little shark. How could I be a little shark? We were not in the water. Then they complained that I watered the floor. Did they not know that it needed a little more moisture? It looked dry. They were just difficult.

Things did get better. I got to go on lots of walks and meet lots of new friends. I got a lot of treats if I did certain tricks. I got to sleep on the bed. And … the very best thing …. I got to see my mom and my dad at work. You know what is best about their work …. THE PEOPLE! So many people love to see me, and their eyes light up when I come racing over to them. I realized this was my happy place. I want to live at Harwell & Cook Orthodontics!

So …. YOWZA! YOWZA! YOWZA! You will start to see me more often! I would love to take a picture with you or even give you my pawtograph. Please ask about me! If the doctors start to see how much I am loved, and how much I know, they may even put me on the payroll! Can you imagine how many dog bones I could buy with my own money?
